Schedule 9:30 Savor the views of Dorokyo from the second floor of Doro Hotel.

Upon arrival at Dorokyo, your guide will escort you to the second floor of Doro Hotel. After setting down your belongings, relax and gaze at the gorge while enjoying a specially prepared welcome drink made with local ingredients.

10:20 Explore Doro Hotel.

First, we'll tour the Doro Hotel building. Learn about the role Doro Hotel has played in this area and the journey of its preservation through the years. This is a time to trace both the present and past stories of Dorokyo that unfold from this building.

11:00 Enjoy the beauty of Dorokyo by boat.

This is a time to fully immerse yourself in the "present" of Dorokyo, right on the river. Step aboard a traditional boat and, as the engine is turned off, enjoy a leisurely moment on the water. Enter the gorge, where the landscape has remained unchanged for centuries, and experience the air and beauty with all your senses.

12:00 Enjoy lunch.

Savor seasonal dishes made with local ingredients on the second floor of Doro Hotel. While relaxing and recharging, take in a different perspective of the gorge's stunning scenery, offering a peaceful break from the river below.

13:00 Discover the way of life in Dorokyo by walking the path of the raft masters.

Walk the "Path of the Raft Masters" and head towards the scenic viewpoint upstream, "Yamabiko Bridge," which overlooks Dorokyo. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the deep connection between the local forestry, tourism, and the people of the village and their way of life.

14:00 Free time

Step out into the field to connect with the village's history, or immerse yourself further in the present beauty of Dorokyo. You’ll have free time until 4:00 PM to enjoy as you wish.
